Truck & Auto Repair Shop in Chatham

Came in with a slow leak from a nail in one of my tires. Not only were they able to schedule me for that morning, but also quickly found another nail in another tire. Patching services cost $70 per tire, which was right in line with the Kelley Blue Book pricing for my vehicle. Service took 2 hours total and was friendly and professional. Reception followed up the next day to ask how the patches looked post-service, which was a nice touch. Overall, very kind and professional, will be coming back with other auto repair jobs when needed.

Above and beyond service here every single time. My company has been using Bauer exclusively for years--and for good reason! Today I dropped off my sprinter van for servicing and asked for directions to the train station as I was leaving. The owner and his very polite and professional daughter Lily offered to drive me to the station! They insisted it was too hot out and so the lovely Lily took me right to the train station and made sure I knew where I was going before she left. The Bauer automotive building may be large and impressive looking but make no mistake this is a family business ran by people who see you as a person! They really care and it shows. 5 stars. Bauer was able to identify the exact issue with my car, a fuel pump and the associated fuel lines, and replace what was needed. Work was done well and in good time. This was much preferred compared to the dealership who wanted to replace the fuel tank, pump, and many other parts.
