Nick, the manager of Bauer Automotive Service, is a great guy and an excellent automotive technician. During a trip from New York to Missouri, one of the brake wheel cylinders on my truck blew out, leaving me stranded in New Jersey. I was turned away by several repair shops in the area due to the timing (it was 4pm) and the amount of work they already had to complete ,and lacked the proper tools to complete the repair myself. My final stop was at Bauer Automotive where I met Nick outside (it was now 5pm and he was closing the shop). After explaining my situation to him he gladly offered to stay late and help get me back on the road despite his having an equal amount of repairs to complete. An hour later I was thanking him profusely and resuming my trip, which went without issue from there on out. As a former Volvo Master technician I highly recommend taking your vehicle to him for services and repairs.

I have only great things to say about how they are, thorough in taking care of my car and my son's car. How Danny and Nick take the time to listen, to be able to diagnose the issue. As well as going above an beyond on reducing unnecessary costs. When they return my car they even clean the interior/exterior as well. They give you the white glove treatment. I'm very happy with their service.

I just want to let everyone know! THERE’S ANOTHER AUTOBODY WITH THE SAME NAME. AND THEYRE THE SCAMMER! Dont get it confused. They have zero reviews at the moment and i’m appalled they make money ripping people off. I feel compelled to write this review so others will be aware and inform. BAUER AUTOMOTIVE TRUCk SERVICE at 27 Watchung Avenue tried to rip me off for diagnostic saying the whole work is between $1200-$3000. I cop out and went to my trusted shop and I was only charge $300 for the problem.

I've been looking for a decent garage with decent people that charges decent prices and I'm glad I finally found it. They did a good job servicing my car and seem very honest. They were also very accommodating with some special requests I had regarding my car. If you're sick of dealerships or garages with shady prices, look no further because there's a great bunch of people here that'll take care of you.

Let's just say I'm very careful who I trust with my cars and Nick and the rest of the mechanics at Bauer Auto are top notch. Very upfront and honest. Has done multiple jobs on my Cobra from alignment, exhaust work, trouble shooting check engine lights, etc. and I'm always a satisfied customer. Come check them out, you won't be disappointed!

Bauer has been there for almost 50 years. They were the shop my dad used when he started the business and now that it's mine I still use them.

Bauer has been doing the work on all my trucks for over 20 years. They know what they are doing and don't settle for inferior parts. I wouldn't even think about using another shop.

Once again top shelf service! We use Bauer because it's always done right the first time. Saves us money in the long run. Passing inspection and not broken down on the side of the road with five men standing there on the clock. Plus customer is happy because we are on time!
